The DealCoach Process

The Estimate of Value provides business owners with a realistic understanding of what the market would most likely bear for their company in today’s marketplace. So you can make well-informed decisions, for whatever decision you’re trying to make.

What do we offer?

Estimates of Value and Advisory Services

The Estimate of Value (EOV) and Business and Market Analysis (BAMA) provides business owners with a realistic understanding of what the market would most likely bear for their company in today’s marketplace.

The Estimate of Value is particularly useful for

  • Business Owners
  • Considering Exit Strategies
  • Buying a Business
  • Estate Planning or Buy-Sell Agreements
  • Internal Transitions to the Next Generation / Current Management
  • Benchmarking
  • Strategic Planning

Best practice guidelines recommend that a business owner update their valuation every 2-3 years

But the data suggests business owners are falling well short of this: 43% of business owners have not had any business valuation done, while less than 15% have had a business valuation done in the last two years (Business Exit Planning Institute, Wisconsin Survey 2018).

We have made it our mission to help business owners understand the true value of their business in a straightforward, cost-effective manner. We’re not here to tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear to make a well-informed decision.

The Estimate of Value costs $500 and Business and Market Analysis $950, compared to others who may charge upwards of $4,000

From beginning to end, our process takes 1-2 weeks and requires only an online questionnaire and brief Q&A session from the client.

The timeline is generally as follows:

Client Engagement

  • Submit payment and business financial information, begin communications with Business Analyst.

Financial Analysis

  • The Business Analyst begins the financial analysis, coordinates any Q&A with the client.

Benchmarking - Business and Market Analysis (BAMA)

  • The Business Analyst completes benchmarking analysis, market and industry research.

Quality Review

  • The Business Analyst conducts a thorough quality review with our team and Managing Partner.

Proposal

  • The Business Analyst sends the completed report if needed a conference call with the client to present results and answer any questions

Are you ready to move forward with an Estimate of Value or Business and Market Analysis?
